"During the school holidays in October we had a great time staying at Snowy Paws especially when I caught a 62cm Atlantic salmon just down the road in Lake Jindabyne (near the Barry Drive roundabout). My mum said that there'd be little chance of catching a fish in the middle of the day from the shore but I did. I was casting with a Tassie devil lure (suggested by the guy at the Jindabyne fishing shop) and then the salmon struck. You beauty - it was the biggest freshwater fish I've ever caught." Dear Joyce and Karl,
Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed Christmas at Snowy Paws. The townhouse is gorgeous with plenty of room. The quality of your furnishings, along with the comfy beds was wonderful.
Thank you for being so thoughtful in the fitting out of the kitchen. All utensils and kitchenware were of a high standard and everything we required for a great holiday was there.

The men had a great time going fishing early in the mornings, whilst the women and kids had long lie ins.
Our dog Max thoroughly enjoyed his swimming in the lake and resting on the balcony.
Thanks once again for a superb holiday.

The house itself was a real surprise. Normally you see the photos on the internet and expect to "dumb it down" a little but not in this case. Spacious, clean, well appointed (better than our own house) and so easy to relax in. We were able to do what we wanted to do and that was relax. The kids were loving everything about it, except not having access to the bedrooms. They had a few restless nights at the bottom of the stairs but soon got into a new routine.The close proximity to town was ideal so we could walk off some of our crackers-and-dip-with-bubbles sessions. Mind you I was happy to stay in all day, regardless of the weather. Our favourite location out of the house was definitely the off lead area at the lake. For the first time we were able to let the kids off lead in an unfenced area and they responded so well. They came back every time we called and never ran out of sight. I know it isn't related to the house but it added to an already fantastic holiday.

Miss Nugget says: "Loved Snowy Paws - you are so clever to have a home so near the off the leash area. Thank you Polly and Bryson for all the bones you TRIED to hide - I found every one of them. I loved all the sticks of the tree and the bark was great fun to chase in the wind. I loved the walks down to the off the leash area and to coffee with Mum at the shops."

Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we enjoyed the weekend at Snowy Paws. Your town house is great and we all had a wonderful time. Ruby especially loved the garden. We are looking forward to our next stay at the end of May. I'll also be in touch to book another couple of weekends after the snow season has finished.

"Snowy Paws" It has received a 5 paw rating :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) from the girls and I am sending in a vote for the "Dogs on Holidays" book. It is perfectly set up and being there when it was fairly quiet was great. I hope you continue to have good "paw people" staying there and not ever get disappointed. We have always thought of opening a doggie place ourselves... maybe sometime in the future.
By the way you have very good cleaners as the place was spotless when we arrived. Cheers, Mariola
